Top lender Sberbank says leaves European market
MOSCOW, Mar 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s top lender Sberbank has decided to leave the European market in the current difficult situation, because the group’s subsidiaries have faced abnormal outflow of cash and threats to the staff’s safety, the bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The bank’s assets are sufficient for payments to all the depositors,” Sberbank said.
